Marie delivered an 8 week Workplace Mindfulness course to my team and I commencing September 2021. My team works in a high pressurized environment of constant flux, and so initially we were worried about even getting the hour to do this course. How glad we all were though. Marie’s hourly class soon became our favourite hour of the week. She is such a warm, caring person and her passion for supporting others through teaching Mindfulness was so evident. We were all energized by her class and kind spirit. Many of the attendees are still practicing the learnings from the course, a testament to how valuable this course was to us. I highly recommend Marie as a Coach and Mindfulness teacher.

When I started an 8-week MBSR class for individuals, with Marie as my teacher, I didn’t really know what I was signing up for. I had a vague notion that Mindfulness was all about chanting and staying present or being in the moment. At the time work was very stressful and the Covid pandemic was beginning to affect my mood so I decided to try something different and I signed up with Marie for her course. It’s a cliché to say something was life changing so I won’t, but Marie introduced me to a place of stillness and a warm calmness that has allowed me to notice my stressful thoughts and be with them with kindness and a sense of calm. Marie’s style is warm, encouraging and a lot of fun and I’m grateful for the mediation skills that she has given me to enjoy my days that little bit more. I would highly recommend Marie and her mindfulness practice for everyone who wants to enjoy their days that little bit more.

I took part in an 8 week MBSR course with Marie in 2021 and it was just what I needed at the time. Prior to this I had several coaching sessions with Marie in 2019/2020 which helped me greatly as I transferred between jobs and locations. Marie’s gentle, warm and compassionate approach coupled with her evident knowledge and experience helped me to navigate a tricky time with grace and focus. I was delighted to have the opportunity the following year to avail of the Mindfulness course and cannot overstate how helpful the weekly sessions, daily homework and accountability, and ongoing support and encouragement from Marie helped enforce good habits and a space to reflect and nurture during this time. It was during a particularly difficult period with lockdown and I found it provided me with really powerful resources and tools to move from avoidance to curiosity and later to acceptance. Marie brings wisdom, empathy, skill and warmth to this process and a genuine positive intent and compassion which results in a safe space for growth and self reflection and I would have no hesitation in recommending similar courses and one to coaching with Marie going forward.

Mindfulness was recommended to me by a friend who did the course with Marie. I did the Workplace program initially with her and then went on to participate in the MBSR program. As a result of the course I find myself much calmer, less stressful and less anxious. I continue to do the practices which helps me especially with mindful listening and speaking. Mindfulness has helped me gain more confidence and to be more kind to myself.

I participated in Marie’s online MBSR course during 2021. Marie’s friendly and inclusive style engaged the group and for me it was a social highlight during the lockdown. It was a diverse group but everybody participated and the exercises, movement, and meditation worked very well.
The breakout rooms allowed good discussion and deep-dive into topics. I felt relaxed after each session and the ongoing practices during the week. I find them great for improving focus. I highly recommend Marie as a mindfulness practitioner and look forward to participating again in other courses she offers.

Marie gave the most uplifting, positive presentation to all the staff in my workplace recently. It hit the perfect balance between introducing us to Mindfulness and giving us a range of skills to look after our wellbeing. Marie prepared thoroughly for her presentation so that she would hit the right note with us. Her calming voice and interesting reassuring information made it easy to listen to. Many staff members gave feedback after. They mentioned that different elements from Marie’s presentation struck a chord with them personally. It was such a positive experience. Marie presented a very interesting talk about Mindfulness for our Amazon associates in the Cork area. People were really impressed with the content and their feedback was enthusiastic afterwards. She was an engaging speaker, sharing her own experiences of Mindfulness and the reported benefits that this practice can bring.
